Johnny Ramone was photographed in his “Chatterbox” tee while in Denmark, in his signature leather jacket, in 1977.

Formed in the New York City neighborhood of Forest Hills, Queens in 1974, The Ramones are often cited as the first true punk rock group. All of the band members adopted pseudonyms ending with the surname “Ramone,” although none of them were biologically related. They performed 2,263 concerts, touring nonstop for 22 years. In March 2002, the original four members and their replacement drummer were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on their first year of eligibility. In 2011, the group was awarded a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award.

Ramones is the debut studio album released April 1976. The album cover (featured on this t-shirt) was photographed by “Punk” magazine’s Roberta Bayley and features the four members leaning against a brick wall in New York City. The record company paid $125.00 for the photo, which has since become one of the most imitated album covers of all time.

This feminine, super soft tank top features a satin label and slightly relaxed and longer fit. It's made from 50% poly, 25% combed ring spun cotton and 25% rayon. Care Instructions: Machine wash cold, do not bleach and tumble dry low.
