There are few stories as pure and majestic in rock and roll as The Band’s. Before the success of their debut album, 1968’s Music from Big Pink, Levon Helm, Robbie Robertson, Richard Manuel, Garth Hudson, and Rick Danko, were the guys behind the guys — first the Canadian rockabilly singer Ronnie Hawkins, and later Bob Dylan for a couple world tours and The Basement Tapes.
Then with Big Pink, and their follow up albums, The Band (1969), and Stage Fright (1970), “the band” famous for playing behind the more famous, finally became The Band with their own outright hit songs and headlining concerts. Perhaps it’s all best captured by Martin Scorsese in The Last Waltz, a filmed concert of the original member’s final farewell concert.
A feminine version of the muscle tank, this women’s flowy scoop neck tank top is a must-have style, designed with our exceptionally soft poly-viscose fabrication that softly drapes around curves. The modern elongated armholes and curved bottom hem make it perfect for layering.
